Pressspan is a special product on the basis of the
purest wood cellulose fibres. Without additional binding agents,
these are made up into a fibrous web and then pressed. Due to its
high chemical purity, presspan is particularly suited as an
insulating material in electric machines, capacitors, etc., and
especially in oil-cooled transformers.
